Baltimore’s ZONE4PACKS™ Blister Foil Packaging is designed to protect pharmaceutical formulations that are sold in the most demanding tropical environments: ICH Pharmaceutical Zone 4. Consequently, they are tougher than our standard lightweight foil packaging.
|Baltimore’s ZONE4PACKS™ are available in two different versions:|
|ENHANCED ZONE4PACKS||…if you just need improved protection.|
|ULTIMATE ZONE4PACKS™||…when you want maximum protection for your product.|
Blister Foil Packaging – ENHANCED ZONE4PACKS™
We take your standard foil/PVC blister-packs and seal them in a rigid foil over-pack with a peel-open seal. It protects against: moisture damage, oxidation, UV degradation, and tainting of organoleptic properties. As a result, the shelf-life significantly increases.
However, once this foil over-pack is opened for initial use by the customer, the remaining pills have limited shelf-life. This is because they are now only being protected by your standard blister-pack materials. However, in many cases, this guarantees a sufficient protection.
We can provide ENHANCED ZONE4PACKS™ printed or embossed with your brand logo. They are a more cost effective solution than our ULTIMATE ZONE4PACKS™.
Blister Foil Packaging – ULTIMATE ZONE4PACKS™
These cold formed foil packs are manufactured to GMP standards in a Class R100,000 clean room facility. They consists of a robust high-barrier foil pill-tray, sealed to a high-barrier foil lid-stock laminate. Therefore, they give the best possible protection against: moisture damage, oxidation, UV degradation, and tainting of organoleptic properties.
Hence, each individual cavity around each pill is a single protection unit. Therefore, after the customer has opened the first cavity, the remaining ones remain fully protected.
We can provide ULTIMATE ZONE4PACKS™ printed or embossed with your brand logo, as per your needs.
